C11 Observatory
This 3m x 3m sliding-roof observatory stands on open ground 50-100 m from the various apartments. The entire observatory is raised 1m above the ground and is completely detached from the concrete supporting pillar.
The telescope is a Celestron 280mm f.10 Schmidt-Cassegrain on a new Atlux equatorial mount. An 8 x 50 finderscope and a Telrad are fitted. It is polar-aligned and ready to go for visual or photographic work.
