HEQ 5 mount
This sturdy mount for astrophotographie with biaxial control is available.
These instruments are available for use with this mount:
• Celestron C8 Schmidt-Cassegrain or
• Vixen 200 mm f.4 Newtonian telescope with coma corrector
• Achromatic 150 mm f.5 refractor
The C8 as well as the refractor can accomodate a swivel mount to guide a 35mm camera. For quicker setup, the HEQ 5 has a polar sight for the southern sky. Mounting your own instruments (up to a total weight of about 12 kg) is also possible, provided they are attached to a Baader Type III dovetail track.
