Situated in the open air close to the Kopernikus apartment, this solid concrete pillar and foundation is situated for heavy mounts. You can view measurements here. We might already have an adapter for your mount or be able to make one for you. (see: mount adapter). An electrical connection is available for the mount as well as for your laptop if required.
Another pier lies 25 m beyond this one. You will certainly have plenty of space and quiet for your observing but might not be totally alone during session.
