Situated in the open air close to the Kopernikus apartment, this aluminium pier is vibration-damped in a concrete foundation. It is suitable for heavy mounts. You can view measurements here. We might already have an adapter for your mount or be able to make one for you.(see: mount adapter) An electrical connection is available for the mount as well as for your laptop if required.
Another pier lies 25 m beyond this one. You will certainly have plenty of space and quiet for your observing but might not be totally alone during your session.
