SP-DX mount
For starfield photography with a wide-angle objective or telephoto lens we offer this mount on a strong, stable tripod with dual-axis motor drives and a Southern-sky polarscope. The guide telescope (100 mm f.10 with zenith prism) allows a crosshair eyepiece to be moved within the focal plane, so a larger area of the field can be swept to locate a suitable guide star. Alongside this we offer a dovetail for heavy cameras or medium-sized objectives. If you prefer to work with a short focal length, an extra plate can be mounted "piggy-back" and loaded with different cameras. |
